As a Production Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team within the department to ensure the successful execution of manufacturing and assembly operations. Your primary goal will be to keep production running safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality standards while fostering collaboration across teams.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current team member in the Department with at least 6 months in current role.
  • No active written concerns (disciplinary or attendance) on file.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of production processes, equipment, and technologies within the hiring department.
  • Proven ability to lead, engage, and motivate a team toward achieving goals.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with production KPIs and continuous improvement practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate team members to achieve production goals and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Organize, assign, and prioritize daily tasks to ensure timely completion of work within established quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including Quality, Engineering, and Logistics-to maintain smooth workflows and resolve production challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and maintain adherence to 6S standards of workplace organization.
  • Train and mentor new team members on procedures, safety protocols, and standard work practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, creating and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Escalate production challenges or material shortages to management in a timely manner.
  • Build team versatility by ensuring all operations within the area have adequate trained coverage.
