Production Team Lead
About The Position
The Production Team Lead oversees the efforts of the production team, ensuring projects are carried out in adherence to its goals and timelines. It is their duty to set guidelines and objectives, manage budgets and schedules, liaise with internal and external parties, and assess the performance of team members. They must also monitor the progress of operations and address issues and concerns, resolving them promptly and efficiently. Moreover, the Production Team Lead must encourage and lead staff to reach goals while implementing the company's policies and regulations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years of production experience
- Strong communication skills
Nice To Haves
- English required; Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assure employees are following proper procedures.
- Influence team in a positive manner to improve morale, production efficiency and output.
- Create work orders, assign, and return materials as necessary per procedures to ensure quality and inventory control.
- Ensure department adheres to GMP guidelines.
- Alert production supervisor/manager of any opportunities of improvement in processes and documentation.
- Ensures compliance with established safety and policies and procedures.
- Follow training matrix as required to ensure essential training needs are met.
- Submit inventory needs in a timely manner and maintains organization of current inventory.
- Partners with Quality Assurance team
