Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking a Production Team Lead to work in our Hutchins, TX facility. Requirements

  • Basic measuring skills- able to read a ruler and other measurement devices
  • Basic problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly to ensure accuracy and understanding of job ticket
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 lbs and to stand for an entire shift (excluding breaks)
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on production schedule
  • Team player and self-motivated
  • Highly detailed oriented- quality focus driven
  • Can handle complex issues and know how to resolve them (problem solver)

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of print experience
  • Previous experience as a team lead in a production environment
  • Basic computer skills (open, close, print a file)

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day operations
  • Assign, monitor, and review daily progress and accuracy of work
  • Acts as liaison between production and other areas
  • Research, provide solutions and communicate with supervisor and employees on escalated customer issues, employee questions, etc
  • Contribute to an atmosphere of team work and cooperation to maintain an effective working environment as well as ensure continuity of service to employees
  • Provide back-up coverage for Supervisor and/or other Department positions
  • Follow quality and training expectations as stated under ISO 9001 Certification
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
