About The Position

Join The Content Kitchen, the production arm of Maverick Studios, Inspire Brands’ award‑winning in‑house creative agency in Atlanta, GA. This internship offers hands‑on exposure to the production and producing process, designed for students who want to learn how professional content gets made. You’ll support producers and production teams across pre‑production, on‑set execution, and post‑production while building foundational skills in the following ways: Support Inspire’s family of brands by assisting in the photography/video production of world-class content for our fellow brands and shared services teams. Ensure the culture and values of Inspire Brands is reflective in all content created. Collaborate and support other members of the Studio to ensure that broader team goals are met. Support Inspire’s family of brands by working directly with the creatives to elevate our brands and improve the effectiveness of our marketing and communications to both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Rising Junior or rising Senior working towards a 4 year / bachelor’s degree
  • Must be currently enrolled in a college or university working towards a 4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Photography/Broadcast/Visual Media/Production degree combined with a promising portfolio of work, appropriate for the level of experience and opportunity one has had to date in this field.
  • Availability to commit to 2-3 days a week.
  • Flexibility to work irregular weekday hours, as needed, and travel, within GA, as required
  • Personal vehicle is required
  • Understanding of camera equipment, lighting, and other technical aspects of still photography and film production.
  • Familiar with the processes and work of a creative / video / production work environment.
  • Knowledge of workflow process in video OR photography and workflow in software management.
  • Experience with a wide array of media, formats, platforms, and mediums including broadcast, digital/mobile/social, POP, events and video.
  • A basic understanding of traditional corporate communication and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office, Teams, Sharepoint, Google Workspace/G-Suite, and other platforms such as Zoom, airtable, etc.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure and learn on the job.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Using one’s natural creativity to solve problems, find answers and contribute what is needed as well as what is asked for.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to admit what you do not know, could improve upon, and need to learn.
  • Desire to learn and be better through experience while taking direction and cues from more senior team members.

  • Previous experience in a production, media or creative environment preferred (internship, student productions, freelance, or academic projects).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Production Assistant on set, supporting day-to-day production needs to ensure smooth and efficient shoots.
  • Assist with pre-production preparation, including building and distributing call sheets, organizing preproduction books, and preparing shoot documentation.
  • Support on-set operations by assisting with studio setup and breakdown and stage organization.
  • Coordinate logistics such as transporting equipment, materials, props and documents to and from set using a personal vehicle.
  • Complete regular food runs, prop runs and supply pickups in support of production needs.
  • Assist with administrative duties including but not limited to: Storage room organization and inventory upkeep Budgeting and expensing support Reviewing bid decks and vendor estimates General office tasks and production paperwork management.
  • Act as on-set support for producers, directors and crew, responding quickly to production needs as they arise.
  • Help manage production paperwork, schedules, shot lists, and releases to ensure accuracy and organization throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Support the transition from production to post-production by assisting with file management.
  • Proactively identify and help resolve minor on-set issues while escalating larger concerns to the appropriate team members.
  • Uphold all production safety protocols and handle equipment responsibly at all times.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with a variety of teams, at the corporate, brand and franchisee level.
  • Collaborate and learn from other creatives of various skillsets, specialties, and levels of experience to create and execute high quality work.
  • Learn, build, and implement industry skills.
