About The Position

As a Production Support Clerk, you will primarily be a Part Marker and play a critical role in ensuring the quality and identification of aerospace components. The ideal candidate should have a good eye for detail and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. You will also assist in accurate receipt, inspection, and recording of incoming materials and goods, assist in managing inventory levels, and conducting regular cycle counts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing or assembly operations.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with marking tools and equipment used in aerospace part marking.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in marking components.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and regulations in an aerospace environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if required.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control practices and procedures.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery; certification preferred.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Required: Compliant with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which requires U.S. Person status (ITAR defines “U.S. Person” as a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in aerospace assembly or a similar manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • technical certification in aerospace or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and verify part numbers, serial numbers, and other identifying information on aerospace components.
  • Apply appropriate markings, labels, and identification tags to parts as per industry and company standards.
  • Utilize various marking techniques including etching, engraving, and ink stamping.
  • Maintain accurate records of marked parts and ensure traceability in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure all markings meet specification and customer standards.
  • Operate and maintain marking equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Report any discrepancies or quality issues to the relevant departments.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming material against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Prepare and process return shipments for damaged or incorrect items.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and adjustments.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Other duties as assigned.
