About The Position

Production, assemble and package products for customer orders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and one year of Warehouse experience
• Ability to read English, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Packages bulk material into small quantities.
• Review work orders, production orders, and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves for holding area.
• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
• Opening bales, crates, and other containers.
• Record amounts of materials package on to work order log sheet.
• Weigh and count items for distribution to ensure conformance to Tanner’s standards.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Assist as needed and as requested with Shipping Dept. duties (cross training will be provided).
