About The Position

Manage and control the processing of programs and peripheral equipment on mainframe and distributed computer systems to ensure optimal service and system availability. Responsible for establishing production runs and ensuring job control language, run documentation, and data files are in place. Assist in job setup, problem identification, escalation, and resolution, while communicating the status of operations to address service disruptions promptly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of IT work experience in production and operations support.
• Experience providing production support on multiple platforms.
• Strong problem identification, escalation, and resolution skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and potentially lead projects of moderate complexity.
• Effective communication skills for reporting operational status and disruptions.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support across multiple platforms and work on various projects as a team member.
• Lead projects of moderate complexity and provide guidance to junior technical staff.
