Requirements

3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Strong understanding of production processes and quality control
Proven ability to lead teams, provide coaching, and foster a positive, productive work environment
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a production setting
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with basic computer systems for documentation and reporting

Responsibilities

Supervise production employees, ensuring they receive proper training, guidance, and motivation.
Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Enforce safety policies, conduct training, and ensure PPE use.
Respond promptly to incidents and promote a culture of safety.
Oversee production to ensure products meet or exceed expectations.
Manage non-conforming products and maintain accurate quality records.
Monitor goals, address inefficiencies, and align with scheduling teams to meet output expectations.
Keep the production floor clean and “customer visit ready” through daily audits and organization.
Partner with maintenance, engineering, and other teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.
Uphold company policies, manage schedules, approve time records, and handle performance feedback and corrective actions.
Identify and implement process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains.
