Requirements

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Strong understanding of production processes and quality control
  • Proven ability to lead teams, provide coaching, and foster a positive, productive work environment
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a production setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems for documentation and reporting

Responsibilities

  • Supervise production employees, ensuring they receive proper training, guidance, and motivation.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Enforce safety policies, conduct training, and ensure PPE use.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and promote a culture of safety.
  • Oversee production to ensure products meet or exceed expectations.
  • Manage non-conforming products and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Monitor goals, address inefficiencies, and align with scheduling teams to meet output expectations.
  • Keep the production floor clean and “customer visit ready” through daily audits and organization.
  • Partner with maintenance, engineering, and other teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.
  • Uphold company policies, manage schedules, approve time records, and handle performance feedback and corrective actions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains.
