Requirements

  • Minimum Associate’s degree or 3-5 years’ experience
  • Proficient with computers, ability to create, process and analyze data in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Previous Experience working in ERP software, and HRMS
  • Ability to work Rotating Shifts
  • High level of problem solving skills

  • Lean 6 Sigma Training/ Implementation
  • Previous union experience
  • Previously worked in Dayforce and Kiwi

Responsibilities

  • Champion a safe and friendly environment for all Team Members
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed, and use corrective action when necessary in regard to Safety, work rules, attendance and other violations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and effectively communicate opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness for this position.
  • Schedule Team Members and orders to proper machines to ensure efficiency
  • Recognize good performance and acknowledge Team Members.
  • Participate and facilitate communication meetings with Team Members pertaining to safety, toolbox discussions, daily production walks, preventative maintenance meetings and monthly Crew Leader meetings.
  • Communicate between departments on customer orders.
  • Ensure production floor feedback is accurately recorded in Kiwi system.
  • Write up, and/or approve maintenance work orders.
  • Respond, record, and investigate accidents and administer first aid.
  • Supply tooling and resources to Team Members and machines.
  • Provides direction and leadership to Team Members in all departments as needed.
  • Additional Tasks as required
