About The Position

Summary: The Production Supervisor oversees daily production operations and supervises production employees to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. This role coordinates workflow, labor, and materials to maximize productivity while controlling costs and meeting delivery goals. In addition to supervising production activities, the role may perform specialized functions that support the business unit, such as coordinating materials, supporting process improvements, or leading operational initiatives. The position will also have responsibility for safety, environmental compliance, and facility-related activities. Essential Duties: Production Supervision of PSM Process. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, quality, and company policies, including Process Safety Management (PSM) required elements. Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals. Lead, train, and coach production employees, including performance management and evaluations. Monitor production processes and product quality, directing adjustments when necessary. Maintain production documentation, reporting, and timekeeping records. Material Management Plan and assign work based on production schedules, labor needs, and material availability. Coordinate the movement of materials through the production process. Monitor inventory through periodic cycle count and inventory adjustment. Identify and support improvements to production processes, equipment performance, and operational efficiency. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant manufacturing or production experience.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (NAV, SAP, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Teams).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience leading or supervising production teams preferred.
  • Experience in chemical or industrial manufacturing environments preferred.
