We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Production Supervisor to optimize production, quality, and efficiency across our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for maintaining effective production systems, developing a highly trained team, and fostering a collaborative, safety-focused work environment. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who thrives in a manufacturing environment, values accountability, drives results, and is committed to building strong teams and improving processes.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Manufacturing execution expertise
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Team development and leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of company policies and procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Independent problem-solving and sound decision-making skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • Machine shop experience strongly desired

Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee daily departmental operations, assign tasks, authorize overtime, and control costs and product waste
  • Lead production activities within assigned areas and communicate effectively across shifts
  • Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and internal process procedures
  • Monitor and approve employee timecards for accuracy
  • Develop, implement, and manage employee training plans and performance reviews
  • Coach, mentor, and support employee development and goal setting
  • Drive efficiency using 5S and other lean manufacturing methodologies
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and support teams to develop CAPAs and corrective actions
  • Communicate expectations, monitor results, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures
  • Facilitate process and quality improvements by promoting “quality at the source”
  • Organize production schedules and communicate production runs to team members
  • Attend and present at tier meetings across multiple levels
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives through internal improvement programs
  • Oversee manufacturing flow across departments to maintain optimal efficiency
  • Support operations management with hiring plans and workforce development
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment issues
  • Identify, lead, and report on process improvement initiatives
  • Resolve production flow stoppages promptly
  • Optimize inventory control procedures and develop Kanban systems for consumables
  • Create and implement standard work practices across departments
  • Interview and evaluate candidates for open positions
  • Enforce company policies and collaborate with Management and Human Resources as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
