About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee our production operations and ensure that all performance, quality, and safety targets are consistently achieved. This role is accountable for production turnaround time (TAT), quality metrics, headcount and overtime planning, scrap reduction, and the overall stability of production output. The Production Supervisor is a hands-on leader who drives team performance, optimizes workflows, and fosters a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in leading and supervising in a production environment
  • A strong combination of technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, and leadership qualities to ensure the efficient and safe functioning of the production processes under their supervision.
  • Strong understanding of production equipment, workflow processes and safety standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production activities across assigned processes, ensuring workflows are efficient and schedules are met.
  • Take ownership for meeting production TAT, quality metrics, and output goals.
  • Organize, prioritize, and distribute orders across workstations to balance workload and maintain flow.
  • Monitor shift performance and provide clear direction to ensure productivity and service-level compliance.
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of operators, fostering teamwork, accountability, and a results-driven culture.
  • Plan and manage headcount and shift coverage, including overtime scheduling where required.
  • Identify training needs, provide coaching, and ensure operators receive appropriate cross-training to increase flexibility.
  • Address employee concerns promptly and provide regular, constructive performance feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with company and customer specifications.
  • Monitor and manage scrap, rework, and first-pass yield; implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support root cause analysis for quality issues and partner with Quality/Engineering to resolve them.
  • Promote and implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in line with 5S standards.
  • Actively identify safety risks and implement corrective measures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on production output, downtime, scrap, and labor utilization.
  • Track and report against KPIs (TAT, OTS, scrap %, labor efficiency, OEE).
  • Communicate effectively with Planning, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain to align on priorities and resolve issues.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by the Manager
