About The Position

The Production Supervisor at our Auburn facility plays a critical leadership role in overseeing daily operations within the production area. This position is responsible for driving performance across safety, quality, productivity, and delivery metrics, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, capable of motivating teams, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Requirements

Associate's Degree or 2 years experience required
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting
Relocation is available for Continental employees only

Previous manufacturing supervision experience, preferably in a union environment

Responsibilities

Promote and maintain a safe work environment
Ensure associates have the tools and training needed to work safely
Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for safety incidents
Lead daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with ESH policies and legal requirements
Assign and supervise labor to meet production goals
Communicate plant policies and procedures effectively
Ensure team members receive proper training, including safety, job certification, and quality alerts
Drive process improvements to increase productivity
Maintain accurate documentation including time & attendance, payroll, overtime, training records, and process audits
Attend daily shift hand off meetings
Responsible for entering work orders
Ensure production meets quality standards and delivery targets
Support Lean initiatives and participate in Continental Business System (CBS) activities to reduce variation and eliminate waste
Perform other duties as directed by the Department Manager
