About The Position

Production Supervisor Position Overview The Production Supervisor directs the activities of a recognized manufacturing department. Makes sure production schedules and quality standards are met. Responsible for the safety of all employees in the department. Administers company policies to department. Assist in hiring process for department. Responsible for succession planning for department.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a production supervisor or similar role.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Effective communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Office).
• Basic financial understanding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production schedule and quality standards of the department.
• Oversee and ensure safety of team.
• Responsible for continuous improvement and cost control of the group - scrap and rework improvements, control cost of manufacturing process, prepare material and present monthly meetings.
• Supervise employees - train employees, update records, write and present employee evaluations, assist in hiring for department, set goals and track progress of department.
