About The Position

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Directly supervise the activities of the front-line production employees charged with the performance and verification of production activities throughout the plant Provide coaching and mentoring to develop production employees Manage, participate, and adhere conformance to the company safety and environmental programs Must be able to hold employees accountable for safety, environmental, quality, and process related procedures Must be able to provide positive and corrective feedback to subordinates and peers Ensure that employees are properly trained on all pertinent procedures Responsible to identify and initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product or process Responsible for managing truck and rail car loading, along with managing rail car inventory. Must be willing to work a 12-hour night shift rotation. Qualifications include: 5+ years direct production supervisory experience with a focus on safety, environmental matters, quality, process, and people. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred Industry background in manufacturing related to mining, paper mills, steel plants, refractory, heavy equipment fabrication, stone processing, cement plants, etc. highly preferred Direct experience with Material Processing Ability to analyze and understand process trending Good Leadership skills with strong interpersonal/people skills Must be results driven and a self-starter, easily understands and follow directions Positive and proactive attitude with ability to address issues and implement solutions as required Must be able to work in a team environment and willing and able to adapt to fast-paced changing environments Knowledge of MS Office 365 and inventory management system. Requirements
