The Production Supervisor needs to be hands-on and people-focused to lead frontline teams in our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and driving continuous improvement using Lean principles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management or a related field. Or sufficient experience in supervisory position.
  • 2–5 years of production or operations management experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong foundation in Lean Thinking and a commitment to operational excellence.
  • Known for clear communication, effective problem-solving, and leading with empathy, clarity, and accountability.
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement safer, more efficient operational practices.
  • Brings strong leadership experience in managing, mentoring, and developing teams, with the ability to drive performance and lead through influence.
  • Familiar with the Choosing By Advantages (CBA) decision-making methodology and experienced in working with ERP systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production activities and ensure team adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards
  • Provide clear direction and support to hourly team members; manage staffing, training, and performance feedback
  • Drive a positive and inclusive team culture aligned with our Key Behaviors of: People First, We Work Together, We Learn and Grow
  • Monitor production KPIs and proactively address gaps in efficiency, downtime, or quality
  • Conduct daily Tier meetings and participate in Gemba walks to identify and solve issues on the floor
  • Maintain and enforce standard work practices, 5S, and continuous improvement activities
  • Coordinate with other departments (Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Materials, Engineering) to ensure smooth production flow
  • Support implementation of new processes, equipment, or products
  • Ensure accurate reporting of production data, timekeeping, and incident reports
  • Lead or participate in problem solving efforts using PDCA.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
