The Production Supervisor leads shift operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time execution of the production schedule. This role drives safety, quality, and productivity performance, supports operator training, and escalates issues when performance expectations are not met. The Production Supervisor also contributes to continuous improvement, supports maintenance needs, and ensures strong communication across shifts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years manufacturing experience and 5+ years supervisory experience.
  • CMMS experience strongly preferred; SAP experience a plus.
  • Strong computer and basic math skills.
  • Knowledge of equipment setup, operation, and preventive maintenance.
  • Physical requirements: lift 55 lbs, stand up to 4 hours, bend/stretch regularly.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow direction, lead teams, and make sound decisions.
  • Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and commitment to safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with controls, electronics, pneumatics, and PLCs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead production activities and ensure schedule, safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching and corrective action when needed.
  • Respond quickly to equipment downtime to minimize production loss.
  • Support operator training, new equipment startup, and team development.
  • Drive continuous improvement and assist with capital and operational projects.
  • Maintain and improve CMMS (Manager Plus) accuracy and usage.
  • Promote and reinforce a strong Safety-First Culture across all operations.
