About The Position

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for passionate, driven professionals to lead our production teams and help us meet increasing demand while maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality. We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily operations in our spun/blown fiber, air class, and chopping departments. This leadership role is critical in ensuring uninterrupted production, operational excellence, and a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. Reporting to the Factory Focus Manager (with a dotted line to the Operations Manager), the ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong manufacturing background and a passion for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead teams in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Supervise production operators to achieve safety, productivity, cost, and quality targets
  • Coordinate daily manufacturing of fiber blankets and bulk products
  • Monitor equipment performance and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to maintain consistent production flows
  • Partner with supply chain and planning teams to align on production schedules
  • Ensure availability of materials, packaging, and tools for uninterrupted operations
  • Submit maintenance work orders and collaborate on equipment repairs
  • Promote and enforce safety policies and maintain housekeeping standards
  • Train, evaluate, and develop team members to build a high-performing workforce
  • Maintain accurate production records and performance KPIs
  • Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and lead autonomous maintenance tasks
  • Approve timesheets and manage team schedules via Asure
  • Participate actively in SIM-1 and SIM-3 operations meetings
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by leadership
