About The Position

The VPI, powered by VARC Inc., team is seeking a full-time Production Supervisor to join our team. In this role, the Production Supervisor will oversee and support a production team to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety requirements. This role will partner closely with other facility peers and leaders to lead, train, and support production staff while meeting scheduling requirements and maintaining high standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience in a production environment or related course work.
• Strong mathematical ability, with attention to detail and accuracy a necessity.
• Demonstrated common sense, judgment, and communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Trains, supervises, and evaluates production employees.
• Conducts constant quality checking to ensure the standards are met.
• Directs job set-ups to ensure organized, efficient, and safe production areas.
• Repairs minor equipment problems to minimize work interruptions.
• Conducts scanning for payroll and for finished goods.
• Conducts employee performance evaluations of those supervised and is responsible for completion of “Employee Corrective Action Plans”.
• Maintains first aid certification to administer if necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
