The divisions of our business include Miller Fabricated Systems, Flex Air, and Miller Industries Representatives. We are currently seeking a highly motivated 1st Shift Production Supervisor to become an integral part of our team in Fenton, Michigan. 1st Shift hours are 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a construction, modular assembly, or fabrication supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of modular systems, construction methods, or HVAC/mechanical systems preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
  • Ability to work on-site full time on 1st shift (Monday–Friday).

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of modular systems, construction methods, or HVAC/mechanical systems preferred.
  • technical or trade school certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a workforce in the assembly and construction of modular mechanical equipment rooms.
  • Ensure daily production goals are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Coordinate with engineering and project management to ensure specifications and deadlines are met.
  • Monitor performance, coach team members, and provide hands-on guidance to support growth and development.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and employee performance.
  • Enforce company policies, safety standards, and ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations.
  • Troubleshoot issues on the floor and implement corrective actions quickly.
  • Participate in planning meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
