About The Position

Our client is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead and manage our production operations during the evening shift. This role requires a hands-on floor leader who can effectively manage a diverse workforce, ensure operational efficiency, and maintain a safe and productive environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven ability to drive performance, and a commitment to quality and compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or laboratory production environment.
• Strong leadership and workforce management skills; ability to hold employees accountable while fostering a positive culture.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
• Knowledge of GMP, safety regulations, and quality standards (pharmaceutical or laboratory experience preferred).
• Ability to work 2nd shift schedule and occasional overtime as needed.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all production activities on the 2nd shift to meet daily output, quality, and safety goals.
• Lead and motivate a team of production employees, ensuring accountability and adherence to company standards.
• Monitor workflow and adjust resources as needed to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and management to ensure smooth shift transitions and consistent communication.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain accurate production records and report shift performance metrics.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
