About The Position

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and coordinate manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met, and managing a team of production employees. The ideal candidate is a strong, hands-on leader who can manage people effectively, make decisions confidently, and drive performance in a high-demand environment. Work Schedule Must be flexible to work all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) Initial onboarding will begin on 1st shift Rotating schedule based on business needs Frequent extended work schedules, including: Rotating weekends Periods of working up to 7 consecutive days or extended stretches

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing experience
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in computer systems and tools (e.g., Excel, Word, timekeeping systems)
  • Knowledge of: Production processes, Quality control methods, Equipment and manufacturing operations
  • Ability to make decisions confidently and work independently
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Willingness to hold team members accountable and have difficult conversations when needed
  • Positive attitude and ability to bring energy and engagement to the team

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a production environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards
  • Monitor production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance
  • Conduct safety checks, quality inspections, and ensure proper process execution
  • Analyze production data to detect and resolve operational issues
  • Train, coach, and evaluate team members, including addressing attendance and performance concerns
  • Maintain accurate daily documentation and production records
  • Collaborate with technical and administrative teams to resolve production challenges
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Lead a team of approximately 30-40 employees in a production environment
  • Foster a positive, high-performance team culture while maintaining accountability
  • Communicate effectively with team members, peers, and leadership
  • Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to support employee development
  • Address workplace challenges and facilitate resolution in a timely manner
