About The Position

A well-established, privately held manufacturing company in the Walworth County area is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a high-performing production team on the day shift (12-hour rotational schedule). This confidential opportunity is ideal for a proven frontline leader with experience in high-volume, 24/7 manufacturing environments who thrives on driving uptime, operational discipline, cleanliness, and consistent results. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience
  • 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated success leading teams in high-volume or continuous operations
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to be hands-on in a production environment, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in varying temperatures

Responsibilities

  • This role provides hands-on leadership on the production floor, combining technical understanding with frontline supervision.
  • Responsibilities include operating and troubleshooting equipment as needed, driving daily performance through real-time metrics, and ensuring proper staffing and material flow to meet production targets.
  • The supervisor coaches and holds technicians accountable, supports onboarding and training, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards (GMP/6S or equivalent).
  • Strong use of production data is required to improve uptime, quality, and scrap reduction, in close collaboration with maintenance, quality, and operations leadership.
