Resource Label Group is seeking an Production Supervisor to join our team. This position will have department leads reporting to them, with responsibilities overseeing the Screen Making, Digital, Pre-press, Press, Finishing, and Shipping/Receiving teams. They will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these functional units. They will directly influence a positive work environment that drives a proactive culture of safety and employee engagement, while providing leadership to the overall operations of the facility. Responsibilities: Confers with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications and delivery dates of products ordered. Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors. Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of people, machines and equipment. Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or production problems. Develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality. Revises production schedules and priorities as result of equipment failure or operating problems. The Ideal Candidate Will: Synthesize complex or diverse information. Collects and researches data, while using intuition and experience to complement data. Design workflows and procedures. Generate creative solutions, translating concepts and information into images. Use feedback to modify designs & apply design principles, while demonstrating strong attention to detail. Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Gather and analyze information skillfully. Able to assess own strengths and weaknesses while striving to continuously build team knowledge and skills. Communicates change effectively; develops workable implementation plans. Builds commitment and overcomes resistance. Monitors transition and evaluates results. Effectively develop and implement cost saving measures. Contribute to profits and revenue and conserve organizational resources. Have experience of utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools & techniques. Have a minimum of 5 years' experience leading a production team. Understand Continuous Improvement principles and can Manage CI projects.
