About The Position

As the 2nd shift Production Supervisor at our Lubrodal plant, you will report to the Operations Manager and play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations. This role is integral to ensuring our plant meets its Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Efficiency goals through best practices and effective leadership. Requirements

  • College degree in a technical or business field (Chemistry, Engineering, Operations, etc.) is strongly desired.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a batch manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Promotes a harassment-free environment.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships; demonstrates a commitment to teamwork.
  • ERP system experience required (SAP preferred).
  • Experience with ISO/TS/IATF standards desired.
  • Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and 6S experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Company Safety & Environmental Policies, housekeeping/6S programs, and SOPs/Quality requirements.
  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly activities, including scheduling overtime and weekend coverage for Production Leads and Operators.
  • Assist in scheduling production orders and ensure adherence to production schedules.
  • Act as the main shift contact for batch progress updates across business areas.
  • Conduct employee safety, communication, and pre-shift meetings.
  • Audit plant processes and correct SAP movements, focusing on completed process orders.
  • Work closely with the laboratory to maximize efficiency and resolve issues.
  • Oversee basic maintenance of equipment and facilities in collaboration with maintenance teams, process engineers, and the Operations Manager.
