Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead team members to accomplish process improvement opportunities while ensuring production, quality, and safety targets are met at our St. Elmo, Illinois facility. You will guide, coach, and develop employees to create an engaged, team‑oriented workforce that delivers results across safety, quality, cost, and service. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, Agricultural Sciences, or another Natural Science field required.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and loss.
  • Knowledge of plant equipment and safety practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor production performance to ensure quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained.
  • Provide training and resources to ensure employees are performing job responsibilities effectively.
  • Oversee sanitation practices to maintain a clean and food‑safe environment.
  • Coach and enforce plant rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Evaluate employee performance and communicate improvement expectations.
  • Support plant and company safety programs, maintaining strong adherence to requirements such as lock‑out/tag‑out, personal protective equipment, and confined space entry.
  • Manage Adherence, Attainment, and Productivity to deliver plant targets.
