We are looking for a Production Supervisor to support our Primex brand. This role will work out of our Vacaville, CA location. Our Primex brand is a leading provider of control solutions for the municipal and wastewater industries, offering pump control panels, full-featured web-hosted SCADA solutions, and highly complex system integration projects. The job: As our Production Supervisor, you will serve as a “Working Lead,” spending about 60% of your time doing hands-on production and 40% in supervisory and administrative responsibilities. In this role, you will guide production, warehouse, and testing personnel while ensuring that schedules, quality standards, and customer expectations are consistently met. You will also play a key part in fostering accountability, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Every day you will contribute to production by modifying enclosures, fabricating brackets and doors, and laying out back panels to company standards. You will install and wire electrical components to meet industry specifications, maintain project documentation, and communicate with engineers and project managers to resolve issues. You will also provide leadership through employee selection, training, and onboarding, while supporting growth and development pathways for your team. As a supervisor, you will coach and evaluate employees, enforce policies, manage schedules and performance reviews, and maintain open communication with leadership to achieve department goals.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory or lead experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical skills in electrical panel assembly and wiring.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor employees.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to support field installations.

Nice To Haves

  • Seven to ten years of leadership experience with a two year degree or certification in an electrical program and/or business program is preferred.
