Job Description Production Supervisor This is a Safety Sensitive position. Job Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the manufacture of IKO roofing shingles while maintaining high standards for safety and quality. Requirements

  • High-speed manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience of 3-5 years
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability.
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, presentation and listening) and analytical skills
  • Proven track record of operational improvement through employee engagement.
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strong manufacturing leadership to engage employees and drive a productive work environment.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture; investigate near-misses, injuries, and hazards, and prepare reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Company and OSHA standards; conduct safety inspections and support safety programs.
  • Deliver training, cross-training, and employee development for safety, quality, and production procedures.
  • Lead regular crew meetings to communicate updates on safety, quality, production, and plant performance.
  • Collaborate with Supervisors to achieve plant SQDCP performance metrics.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Partner with production and maintenance teams to resolve issues, eliminate root causes, and sustain corrective actions.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching to enhance skills.
  • Manage production scheduling, time and attendance in Workday, and prepare shift reports.
