We’re looking for an experienced Production Supervisor with a background in dairy manufacturing—especially fluid milk processing—to lead our team and drive performance. What you will be doing: As Production Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of milk production, including pasteurization, homogenization, filling, and sanitation. You’ll lead a team of operators and technicians, ensuring compliance with dairy industry standards and optimizing production efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in dairy manufacturing, specifically fluid milk processing
- 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of pasteurization, homogenization, and dairy packaging systems
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science, Food Technology, Engineering, or related field
Nice To Haves
- Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
- Proficiency in production software and data analysis tools
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily milk processing operations, including pasteurization and packaging
- Ensure compliance with FDA, PMO, HACCP, and SQF standards
- Lead and coach production staff to meet safety, quality, and output goals
- Manage Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems and sanitation protocols
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance
- Analyze production data and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with QA, maintenance, and logistics teams
- Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections
