Join Our Team in the Prepared Foods Division as a Production Supervisor! You can expect your day to day include maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. This position requires an essential understanding and control of the production process, accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing. RESPONSIBILITIES Build and develop the strongest team possible, including hiring, training, retaining, and coaching team members on both personal and professional matters. Provide guidance on benefits, compensation, and company policies. Provide direct supervision of the department and hourly workforce with focus on safety, quality, production, and positive employee relations, ensuring all FSQA standards are consistently met. Train employees in safe work practices, conduct safety inspections, complete safety contacts, and lead employee safety meetings. Maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Set clear goals and ensure expectations are consistently achieved. Maintain a positive working relationship with USDA officials and ensure all regulatory and quality requirements are met. Ensure timely correction of any QA deficiencies. Complete all required production documentation, including time sheets, production reports, downtime reporting, and delay-time entries. Partner with production scheduling to satisfy all orders, manage meat flow, maintain accurate inventory, and meet PPHL and engineering standards while maximizing efficiency. Deliver cost-saving initiatives and drive continuous process improvements. Manage performance to PPHL and engineering standards. Perform all other duties as assigned. Management will designate a trained designee to cover absences or vacancies as needed.
