About The Position

The Supervisor plays a key role in managing their team's workflow by assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring results, and reporting to senior management. They ensure efficiency by improving processes, setting team targets, and acting as a link between employees and upper management. Supervisors are also responsible for coaching and resolving issues. Work Location: This is an on-site role. Compensation/Benefits: Attractive annual salary of $68,000 plus bonus with benefits including PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; BS/BA in Logistics/Supply Chain, general business relevant field is preferred; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • 3+ years proven experience as supervisor or relevant role in a distribution, 3PL or warehouse environment.
  • Experience with 5S and continuous improvement programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and WMS software.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking a plus.
  • Lean six sigma experience a plus.
  • Inventory experience a plus.
  • Third Party Logistics (3PL) experience a plus.
  • Experience with time keeping; ADP E-time is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily activities such as inventory management, shipping/receiving, and material handling.
  • Develop schedules, assign tasks, and monitor work to ensure productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage operational budgets and meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure staff complete necessary training (e.g., OSHA compliance).
  • Maintain records for audits (OSHA, customer, and others).
  • Understand customer expectations to meet or exceed satisfaction levels.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints, both verbal and written.
  • Set performance goals and deadlines aligned with company plans.
  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Maintain timekeeping records and manage payroll inputs for hourly staff.
  • Handle disciplinary actions when needed, adhering to company policies.
  • Enforce company safety standards and report non-compliance.
  • Manage workplace accidents, including reporting, investigations, and injury management.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following legal regulations.
