About The Position

This position supervises and coordinates the work of employees on production and assembly lines, along with instructing and training associates to rapidly learn production methods. Responsibilities include ensuring all department safety, quality, efficiency, and production targets are met daily, and that other typical supervisory tasks are completed in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements

Competent in computers and office software.
Ability to multitask.
Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum of 1 year working in manufacturing.
At least 2 years of manufacturing experience
At least 1 year of leadership experience (direct or indirect)
Associates Degree or higher

Nice To Haves

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of your team
Troubleshoot machine issues, work cross functionally to find opportunities, and ensure departmental compliance on maintenance schedules
Work with the operations management team regarding staffing needs
Engage with employees regarding performance, compliance, and development
Keep the employees energized and focused on the work at hand
Keep your department organized and clean
Participate on company committees and projects
