About The Position

The OCS Supervisor is responsible for organizing and scheduling in the most efficient manner the production activities as well as the work flow of the assembly lines and assignment of trained associates to each work station; ensures that OFS Carrollton and customer specifications are met; assists associates with troubleshooting, makes decisions when there are production, process, material, training or paperwork problems; administers company policies and procedures; administers disciplinary action as required. Reviews and completes paperwork to ensure accurate recording of daily output levels, and employee work time. Specifically, Operations Support: Supports the shop daily, including but not limited to load leveling, priority assessment, and insuring on time delivery of customer orders Coordinate and maintain e-time for all shop personnel. Resource allocations associated with standard and overtime operations. Be a champion and advocate of quality and safety. SAP support: Serve as a backup for Warehouse Supervisor and production control. Conduct the quarterly and annual inventory. Monitor and improve cycle count discrepancies Resolve SAP issues- receiving, shipping, RMA, cycle count errors, product bin allocation, NCM to warehouse or back movements Safety Coordinator: Ensure OCS is complaint with respect to safety. This includes conducting monthly safety reviews and requesting maintenance work orders as required. Lean and Six Sigma Team Member: Actively participate in A3 projects and all Lean and Kaizen initiatives. Miscellaneous As required will be called upon to complete special projects such as yield improvements, and process/procedural improvements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, and work experience
  • 1 - 5 years in a lead/supervisory position, or equivalent
  • 2 - 3 years in a manufacturing/production environment
  • Excellent Oral and written communication skills are essential
  • SAP experience- minimum of 2 years' experience in a production environment
  • SAP experience- warehouse functions- cycle counts, inventory management
  • SAP experience- receiving of materials, bin allocations and movements
  • SAP experience- conducting warehouse inventory- monthly, quarterly, and/or yearly
  • SAP experience- scheduling production and/or stock orders
  • SAP experience- intermediate knowledge of shipping Domestic and International orders
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, & Word (Intermediate Level. Advance level preferred)
  • Prior connectivity product knowledge
  • Core skill level (TABE) requirements as listed
