About The Position

What you'll do Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees, typically managing hourly employee populations with approximately 28 direct reports. Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of front-line manufacturing employees in rotors and airfoils manufacturing proceses and repair. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement development plans. Ensure proper staffing levels to meet production demands, including recruiting and training new employees. Production Oversight: Monitor daily production activities to ensure adherence to schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives. Analyze production data and report to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Culture, Implement lean manufacturing principles and other best practices. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues and optimize processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of supervisory experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be able to work 100% onsite in Bangor, Maine.
  • Ability and willingness to work D shift (Friday - Sunday 6:00PM - 6:30AM)
