About The Position

The Production Supervisor II plans, organizes, supervises, and coordinates the work of manufacturing and maintenance to meet company and customer goals with quality and efficiency. Manage and lead direct reporting employees. Monday - Friday 2:00PM to 11:00PM SIGN ON BONUS $1200 FOR THIS ROLE ONLY. $100 EVERY 30 DAYS YOU WORK UNTIL YOU REACH $1200.

Requirements

  • Three to five years progressively more responsible experience
  • Extensive technical or specialized knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired in the first two years of college, technical school, or business school.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).

Responsibilities

  • Plans and organizes work to meet daily production and shipping requirements.
  • Maintains inventory of required raw materials and ensures that materials are ordered in a timely manner.
  • Regularly maintains quality of products to verify conformance to specifications. Control and assure the quality of outgoing material.
  • Establish and maintain equipment parts inventory requirements.
  • Trains new employees in job requirements and existing employees on new techniques.
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
  • Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assigns duties.
  • Create and modify manufacturing instructions.
  • Implement and maintain shop floor practices such as lean manufacturing by utilizing teams.
  • Handle internal and external questions in a prompt, professional manner, including order status and contract review.
  • Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times and ensure adequate safety precautions are in place on all equipment.
  • Continually look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
  • Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.
