About The Position

The Production Specialist is responsible for understanding all aspects of production across operations. This includes assisting management in overseeing production, ensuring batches are produced accurately and according to specification, ensuring products are meeting quality standards, and meeting delivery schedules. The Production Specialist regularly travels between Zeco facilities to support operations and provide training as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Logistics, Manufacturing, Operation Management, or a related field.
4-5 years' experience in production/manufacturing.
Ability to travel up to 50%
Experience or training in ERP or production management systems
Be proficient in Microsoft Windows Applications, including Word, Power Point, and Excel
Project a professional appearance with the ability to represent our company in a positive manner to our customers and employees
Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
Ability to organize and maintain a clean and safe work environment

Nice To Haves

2-3 years' experience in chemical manufacturing processes

Responsibilities

Planning and coordinating inventory cycle count program to ensure a high level of inventory control and accuracy
Run a series of inventory reports daily, weekly, monthly to ensure accuracy
Maintain an accurate and consistent inventory reporting structure and offer enhancements for efficiency as needed
Input product Batch Creation procedures
Batch Closing (Cost Tier Adjustments as Needed)
Record and input all Raw Material received in operating system
Transfer Receiving Lot Number Adjustments
Support production management in daily operations.
Maintain detailed records of batches and verify batches are completed according to the batch ticket specifications.
Collaborate with shipping/receiving and inventory clerks to ensure production timelines are being met.
Regularly travel between Zeco facilities to provide hands-on operational support while also promoting consistency and Zeco’s best practices.
Support safety culture and accountability on the production floor.
Complete other duties and special projects upon request.
