Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Production Specialist - Night Shift located in Buffalo Grove, IL. Reporting to the Associate Production Supervisor , the Production Specialist - Night Shift involves being responsible for a variety of complex operations and duties in a production area. Hours: 6:00 pm -6:00 am (Rotating shift)

Requirements

2-4 years’ experience in similar position
Minimum 1 year machine troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of and experience with assembly requirements
Good communication and documentation skills
Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

Medical device experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Develops, maintains and improves assembly processes within area of responsibility.
Evaluates process specifications periodically to decide if the specifications accurately reflect the process requirements and reviews process steps and reduces inefficiencies.
Drives production schedules and process related problems to closure.
Assists in the compliance of safety regulations, i.e. ISO and business controls.
Provides production ready documentation (MPIs) with equipment setup and programs.
Supports team in making process and efficiency improvements.
Handles first calls in non-maintenance down issues and provides assistance to manufacturing support with implementing changes.
Monitors equipment performance and makes minor adjustments such as set-ups, calibrations and alignments.
Clears minor machine difficulties and performs maintenance and repairs under supervision of technician, engineer or supervisor.
Assists operators by answering questions and demonstrating operations.
Performs spot checks on product to ensure quality levels are maintained.
Stays current working with manufacturing support on process and equipment changes and upgrades.
