Job Summary The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing day-to-day production operations at our resin material manufacturing plant, ensuring that resin batches are produced safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards. This role bridges hands-on production with team leadership-managing workflows, supporting team members, and assisting the Production Supervisor to meet production, safety, and quality goals.

  • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Prior leadership or team lead experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee resin batch preparation, review recipes, and ensure timely completion to meet production schedules.
  • Coordinate and monitor daily production activities to maintain steady workflow and minimal downtime.
  • Support and lead team members by making sure tasks are on track and monitoring performance.
  • Monitor and understand accurate live inventory of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and completed batches.
  • In partnership with Maintenance and Engineering, identify and resolve production or equipment issues that could impact schedules or product quality.
  • Provide training and onboarding for new production team members.
  • Recommend and implement process and procedural improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Ensure the production area remains safe, organized, and compliant with all quality and operational standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all Formlabs and local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
  • Move and lift chemical barrels using forklifts and other equipment to execute mixing procedures.
