About The Position

- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with SIOP/IBP. - Balance demand, capacity, labor, and materials to maximize OTD and minimize expediting. - Lead daily and weekly production scheduling processes and ensure schedule adherence. - Partner with Procurement and Material Planning to ensure availability of critical materials. - Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks to the production plan (capacity, materials, labor). - Establish and maintain clear prioritization rules during constraints. - Monitor and improve key metrics: OTD, schedule adherence, inventory days, backlog, and expediting. - Lead planning-related tier meetings and execution routines. - Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering on sequencing, routings, and standard times. - Ensure accuracy and integrity of planning data within ERP/MES systems. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to stabilize and simplify scheduling processes. - Develop, coach, and lead the Production Scheduling team, ensuring clear roles and accountability. - Actively contribute to SIOP/IBP cycles with data-driven scenarios and recommendations. - Support make/buy decisions, capacity investments, and footprint changes. - Lead what-if scenario analyses in response to demand or supply changes. - Align production plans with financial objectives including revenue, margin, absorption, and cash. This is a highly visible strategic-operational role with frequent interaction with site leadership and corporate functions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 7-10 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP, MPS, and SIOP/IBP processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and planning tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
