We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Senior Manager - Production Scheduling . This role will lead the production planning function at our Katy, TX manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for translating forecasted demand into an executable master production schedule while ensuring optimal utilization of machinery, labor, and materials. The goal: maximize sales, improve efficiency, and support both peak and off-season demand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
  • Or ten (10) years of equivalent experience in a similar scope and scale role
  • Proven production planning experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience
  • Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complexity
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Data-driven, probabilistic mindset with sound judgment based on facts
  • Proactive problem-solver who runs toward issues rather than away from them

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage production schedules for a fleet of approximately 100 large plastic molding machines and associated assembly operations
  • Interpret forecasted demand plans and translate them into executable production schedules
  • Create and manage long-range production plans, balancing factory capacity (machine and labor) to support pre-build strategies outside of peak selling seasons
  • Manage short-range production planning to respond to sales opportunities, equipment downtime, and labor constraints
  • Partner cross-functionally with: Demand Planning Purchasing Manufacturing Operations
  • Ensure all required materials, labor, and machine capacity are available to meet production plans
  • Lead and develop production planning team members, fostering accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement
