About The Position

The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing operations in our high-speed beverage facility. This role coordinates closely with production, maintenance, quality, warehousing, and sales teams to meet customer demand while optimizing equipment utilization, minimizing downtime, and controlling costs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2-3 years of production scheduling or planning experience in a manufacturing environment (beverage or food industry strongly preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and scheduling software
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume production setting
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across departments
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends when needed

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years of production scheduling or planning experience in a manufacturing environment (beverage or food industry strongly preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules across multiple lines
  • Coordinate production runs with raw material availability, packaging supplies, and labor resources
  • Work closely with maintenance to schedule preventive maintenance and changeovers with minimal disruption
  • Adjust schedules in real-time to accommodate equipment issues, rush orders, or customer demand changes
  • Monitor and report key metrics including schedule adherence, line efficiency, and downtime
  • Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to maintain optimal finished goods and raw material levels
  • Analyze production data and recommend improvements to reduce waste and increase throughput
  • Generate reports for leadership on production performance and capacity planning
  • Ensure all schedules comply with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (SQF, HACCP, GMP)
  • Participate in daily production meetings and communicate schedule updates to all departments
