To date, the company has deployed over 200 networks - enough undersea cable to circle Earth more than 17 times at the equator. Position Overview: The role of Production Planner is to create schedules, release work orders, produce production reports and interface with Operations teams daily to drive results through the business.

Requirements

  • 5+ years manufacturing experience strongly required - equivalent education and experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years Production Planning / Supply Chain Management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications required – Advanced knowledge in Excel is strongly recommended – MS Project is a plus.
  • Ability to drive teamwork in cross-functional disciplines with peers and Management.
  • Ability to identify business risks and escalate with solutions as necessary.
  • Proficiency and demonstrated ability to make independent, informed decisions.
  • Experience with LEAN Manufacturing principles recommended.
  • This position requires a high degree of integrity and the ability to drive for world-class product.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains daily / weekly / monthly production schedules.
  • Generates and releases ERP (Oracle) work orders daily.
  • Produces daily / weekly / quarterly / annual production reports.
  • Provides direction to Operations team to drive results within the applicable department.
  • Interfaces with Materials team to highlight production changes and discuss material risks.
  • Highlights production concerns with Management and Master Planning to collaboratively drive issue to resolution.
