About The Position

Production Scheduler -Regional Beef Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Production Scheduler to join our Regional Beef team here at Corporate in Greeley, CO! A successful candidate must be able to take the initiative, easily understand the business dynamics, think big picture , have a passion for data, process improvement, and be familiar with business intelligence tools and software. The candidate must have an ability to translate data into answers, understand the uses and needs of information to be able to optimize the supply chain, production, sales and any other relevant task. In addition, the candidate must have very good project management skills, work well within a team dynamic, and know how to prioritize the deliverables.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of planning, logistics or production scheduling experience highly desired
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate results to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to adapt on the fly and pivot quickly to changes driven by business needs
  • Understanding of reporting tools and concepts.
  • MS applications (excel-intermediate) strongly preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Manage the movement of finished goods to outside warehouses, create transfer orders, adjust order changes, and more, to support customer delivery needs.
  • Manage raw material and inventory ages in all warehouses
  • Work with sales on shortages, allocation, and substitutions for product at outside warehouses
  • Coordinate Logistics with outside carriers and outside warehouses
  • Manage inbounded raw material needs and transfer codes for Value Added needs
  • Help Manage production schedules for value added product
  • Manage systems data to drive accurate availability, constraints, and forecasts
  • Forecast a variety of volumes related to production, shipping, long-term storage, etc
  • Plan and manage timeline of deliverables
  • Provide assistance to multiple teams; including production, scheduling, pricing, accounting, shipping, sales & transportation
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and variance reports
  • Other duties as assigned
