About The Position

Mercury Electronics has a challenging opportunity available for a talented, enthusiastic, and motivated Production Scheduler. We are seeking an outgoing individual, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in our fast-paced, dynamic environment. Duties include, but are not limited to: Review and maintain the production status of customer orders and materials for those orders. Collaborate with production team leaders, materials group, and purchasing to determine progress of work and completion dates then providing sales with dates of completion. Expedite customer orders and materials for those orders. Maintain customer shipping schedules for production, inspection and shipping. Maintain web-based status of customer orders. Maintain records of order re-schedules from customers. Creating spreadsheets, letters, forms and other documents Completing special assignments and projects Candidate qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to: One to two years of related experience and/or training in manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education and experience Must have the ability to communicate appropriately with different levels of employees, from production employees to the President. Excellent customer service skills Ability to work as part of a team Ability to communicate technical data clearly (both in writing and verbally) Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize work The following experience is required: Basic math skills and ability to read tape measures and rulers accurately General knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures such as managing files and records, use of desktop computers, and common office equipment. Requirements

  • One to two years of related experience and/or training in manufacturing; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have the ability to communicate appropriately with different levels of employees, from production employees to the President.

  • Experience working for contract manufacturing companies
  • Ability to read and fully understand many different forms of documentation including assembly drawings, schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, job orders, and other forms of documentation
  • Ability to understand electrical drawings and schematics and apply to electrical assembly details
