About The Position

Owns execution of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for the value stream by managing visual production scheduling, ensuring resource availability, and maintaining optimized production sequences to achieve maximum capacity utilization and on-time delivery.Job Responsibilities Observe and document current MPS and materials management processes and prepare them for transfer to a co-located production environment and new production areas. Manage these processes before, during, and after the transfer. Evaluate existing methods for improvement and, in coordination with key stakeholders, establish and implement improved processes where agreed. Proactively identify risks and opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and realize benefits during work transfer. Plan and sequence orders in alignment with the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for assigned products and production lines, fully accounting for physical, labor, and capacity constraints. Execute, monitor, and adjust daily manufacturing output against the schedule. Challenge and investigate deviations from standard performance and drive corrective actions. Monitor inventory and stock coverage daily to prevent both stock outs and overstock. Adjust execution sequences when possible or escalate issues to the Master Scheduler as needed. Maximize utilization of shared manufacturing resources while ensuring alignment with MPS product mix volumes and committed availability dates. Ensure production schedules are feasible, balanced, and fully supported. Incorporate all planned downtime (holidays, routine maintenance, line closures, etc.) and confirm availability of packaging, tooling, fixtures, labor, and materials. Monitor raw material and component availability and escalate risks to Procurement and the Master Scheduler in a timely manner. Proactively communicate production constraints, risks, and execution issues to the Project Team, Master Scheduler, and Value Stream leadership to enable preventive actions and avoid supply disruptions. Develop, implement, and maintain methods to measure schedule adherence. Track performance weekly, analyze deviations, and provide clear reporting and recommendations to the management team. Ensure accurate tracking and system updates of actual run dates, batch quantities, and changeover times. Monitor KPIs, perform root cause analysis on performance gaps, and track WIP aging. Adapt metrics as needed to reflect project maturity before and during the transition.
