About The Position

The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing operations in our high-speed beverage facility. This role coordinates closely with production, maintenance, quality, warehousing, and sales teams to meet customer demand while optimizing equipment utilization, minimizing downtime, and controlling costs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
Minimum 2-3 years of production scheduling or planning experience in a manufacturing environment (beverage or food industry strongly preferred)
Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and scheduling software
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume production setting
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across departments
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends when needed

Responsibilities

Develop and manage detailed daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules across multiple lines
Coordinate production runs with raw material availability, packaging supplies, and labor resources
Work closely with maintenance to schedule preventive maintenance and changeovers with minimal disruption
Adjust schedules in real-time to accommodate equipment issues, rush orders, or customer demand changes
Monitor and report key metrics including schedule adherence, line efficiency, and downtime
Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to maintain optimal finished goods and raw material levels
Analyze production data and recommend improvements to reduce waste and increase throughput
Generate reports for leadership on production performance and capacity planning
Ensure all schedules comply with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (SQF, HACCP, GMP)
Participate in daily production meetings and communicate schedule updates to all departments
