We seek a highly skilled and experienced level 3 Production Scheduler to join our team. Based out of Huntsville, AL you will be responsible for supporting production scheduling, capacity planning, material requirements planning, leading material status meetings, and communicating critical path mitigation analysis to ensure the timely delivery of production efforts to program delivery dates. In this role you will: Lead material status meetings with product teams, including PMM, to review material availability and current shortages Validate procurement delivery dates for impacts on production schedules and support procurement to update system to match real delivery dates Communicate critical supply chain needs to stakeholders, including IPTs, PMM, and other teams Communicate schedule threats and drive escalation process with IPTs, PMM, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues Facilitate non-support burndowns plans and actions, including alternate parts, expedite fees, production flow changes, and other solutions to mitigate material shortages Prioritize items through receiving inspection to ensure timely processing and minimize delays Create ZINV, GCFM, or similar special orders to support supply chain needs and ensure material availability Coordinate shipments of make parts from manufacturing plant to receiving plant, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing transportation costs Monitor exception message management plans for ex20's, ex50/52's, and PR rejections/aging PR's, and work with buy part planners to monitor rejected PR queues and disposition rejected PRs Consult with demand manager on any network changes and updates, and analyze associated impacts on material requirements and production schedules This position will sit primarily in Huntsville, AL but will require occasional travel to Courtland, AL. #LMSPACEEPCTLND

Requirements

  • Experience with ERP systems SAP or similar
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or a comparable scheduling tool such as Primavera or Open Plan.
  • Experience with critical path methodology
  • Knowledge of Schedule Performance and Earned Value Management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be willing and able to work occasionally out of the Courtland, AL facility
  • Due to programs being supported, must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in planning or program management discipline
  • Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance
