Come join us and help us build for the future! This Role: Our team is currently seeking a Production Scheduler based at our facility in Huntsville, AL. What You Will Do: The Production Scheduler manages daily/weekly/monthly build schedule to ensure customer delivery targets are met.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of equivalent related experience.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive “can do” attitude, professional demeanor, performance oriented, and strong customer focus.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Must be U.S. Persons as defined by U.S. export control regulations (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling the daily production of multiple manufacturing departments based on labor, material and equipment availability
  • Reviews and consolidates daily customer orders to build production schedule and material requirements.
  • Identifies potential delays, and proactively seeks solutions working cross-functionally with appropriate personnel
  • Daily communication with plant manager regarding priorities and resources
  • Communicate lead-times and expected completion dates to the sales team
  • Hosts daily production meeting with Purchasing, Materials, Manufacturing, and sales to identify challenges and solutions to meet customer order fulfillment dates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive and expedite planned builds
  • Identifies alternate solutions to meet customer delivery metrics. Reports and escalates potential and existing late customer deliveries
  • Other duties as assigned by management
