About The Position

Shape Smooth-Running Production in Rochester, NY Step into a role where precision, problem-solving, and teamwork keep production moving. As a Production Process Technician, you’ll set up and optimize packaging lines, operate and troubleshoot HMI-driven equipment, and uphold standards that ensure every run is consistent and on-spec. When and Where Location: Rochester, NY Work Schedule: 6 PM–6 AM on a 2-2-3 rotation with built-in overtime and regular days off Meet Us In Person Onsite Job Fair: December 13, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM 1400 North Goodman Street, Rochester, NY 14609 A Day in the Role Open the shift by reviewing and following current SOPs; confirm materials, specs, and machine readiness. Configure packaging machines for new and repeat production runs to achieve target rates and quality. Use Lean Manufacturing principles to spot waste, streamline flow, and reduce downtime. Operate and adjust HMI controls; monitor line health and make parameter tweaks safely and accurately. Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to keep equipment running at peak performance. Coordinate with teammates to hit schedule commitments and production targets. Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols. Record production data, verify accuracy, and escalate discrepancies to leadership.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Comfort with shop math (measurements, conversions, calculations)
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and equipment interfaces
  • Familiarity with packaging machinery and Human–Machine Interface (HMI) systems
  • Team-oriented, quality-focused, and detail-driven
