Production Planning Scheduler

Location: Staunton, VA - In-Office Your Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to production and inventory control functions Review completed sales orders for accuracy and expedites paperwork related to sales orders Contact vendors related to on-time delivery dates Maintain files and records of current and potential suppliers, materials, prices, delivery dates and inventories Prepare materials and supplies purchase orders, analyze quotes, and expedite deliveries and shipments as needed Process change orders, notify vendors of material and quantity requirement revisions, and contact vendors regarding rate adjustments and incorrect materials Provide data as requested to forecast estimates and schedules of goods in process and needs for future orders Provide input to schedules, inventory reports, surplus stock lists, production specifications, and plant capacity data as requested Assist with maintaining records of in-house and on-order material Other duties as assigned Your Qualifications: Associate degree, Technical Degree or equivalent experience 0-2 years related experience Your Benefits: Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan with employer match Paid time off and company paid holidays Paid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law Tuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position. The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $19.38 to $30.85 in VA. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Requirements
- Associate degree, Technical Degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to production and inventory control functions
- Review completed sales orders for accuracy and expedites paperwork related to sales orders
- Contact vendors related to on-time delivery dates
- Maintain files and records of current and potential suppliers, materials, prices, delivery dates and inventories
- Prepare materials and supplies purchase orders, analyze quotes, and expedite deliveries and shipments as needed
